Community Center Rules Reservations are required in order to use the Community Center. Community service groups, educational groups, Christian fellowships, and families in the community all may use the center for receptions and meetings which bless the community. The Speedway Church does not charge a set fee for the use of the building at 4980 W. Tenth; however, it is appreciated if non-members leave a donation in the box on the front of the kitchen counter. Arrangements are worked out with people who use the building on a case by case basis. Effective in 2005 the center may not be used by the community for the purpose of selling household items. The center may be reserved for non-profit or ministerial uses only. First-time users who plan to serve food may be asked to provide a one hundred fifty dollar damage deposit in case cleaning or repairs are necessary after its use. The use of tobacco and alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. All chairs and tables must be returned to their original positions. The premises must be left in the same or better condition they were in upon arrival. Trash must be emptied and taken with those that reserve the center. Kitchen supplies are for church use only. Please do not let children play unsupervised in the back portions of the center. |
The Community Center will be left unlocked for those who have appointments; but it is recommended that you call at least 2 days ahead of time to confirm with Kent Ellett your need of entry. (243-8040)
