We are invested in world-wide missions. See the Sudanese eye clinic we helped to build on the Members' Information Page! We support a publication, www.christianappeal.com, a ministerial training school, www.shbi.org, a world-wide radio program, www.moiradio.com, a Christian Camp, www.campwabashi.org., a benevolence agency called the Christian Relief Fund, www.ministrywatch.com, and home for children. www.bereanhome.org We modestly support Christian workers in Kenya, Malawi, Uganda, and Ukraine. Locally we work with the Wayne Township Trustees Office in providing one time assistance. And we serve the community in a variety of ways, like hosting after school education programs, and the Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Dinner in our Community Center.

Revolution Revolution is a non-traditional, youth-led service for all ages. Gatherings for worship begin Sundays at 6:00 PM using humorous and interactive media intended to reinforce joint identity. Gospel principles annunciated through a continuous exposition of the book of Acts are usually illustrated with short dramatic performances. Preschool and elementary age children are dismissed to do simple crafts which they share with everyone at the conclusion of worship. Sermon illustrations touch all ages but they are most often drawn from common experiences of students, singles and young families. They may include interviews with local personalities such as principals of local schools and missionaries from different cultures. Worship is led by an experienced trio, who sing simple harmonies to newer praise music as well as the best of ancient hymnody. Holy communion is creatively observed in ways that reinforce prayerful togetherness and mutual commitment as well as mystical encounter with the risen Jesus. Following worship, at 7:00 PM participants typically play various sports (basketball, badminton, ping pong, foosball etc.) and games, or enjoy the finger foods served between 7:15 and 8:00 in the community center. At 8:10 participants gather for a short wrap-up and prayer. Dismissal is at 8:15. |
