Community Center Rules: Community service groups, educational groups, Christian fellowships, may use the center for receptions and meetings which bless the community. The Speedway Church does not charge a set fee for the use of the building at 4980 W. Tenth; however, it is appreciated if non-members leave a donation in the box on the front of the kitchen counter. Arrangements are worked out with people who use the building on a case by case basis. The center may not be used by the community for mere family parties or for the purpose of selling household items. It is generally reserved for non-profit or ministerial uses only. First-time users who plan to serve food may be asked to provide a refundable one hundred fifty dollar damage deposit in case cleaning or repairs are necessary. (Checks payable to Speedway Church of Christ, 4956 W. Tenth, Indianapolis, IN 46224) The use of tobacco and alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. No pets. All chairs and tables must be returned to their original positions. The premises must be left in the same or better condition they were in upon arrival. Trash must be emptied and taken with those that reserve the center. Bring your own trash bags. Kitchen supplies are for church use only, so bring your own kitchen utensils. Please do not let children play unsupervised in the back portions of the center.
